Is this only for Jiu-Jitsu gyms?
Combat Control is built for BJJ gyms. Belts, stripes and promotions are part of the core, not added on to a yoga studio tool.
Will this work for our kids and adults programs?
Yes. Set separate belt requirements for kids and adults, run kids classes on their own timetable, and let parents manage their children from one login.
How long does setup take?
A new gym can be live in under 30 minutes. The setup guide walks you through your academy, connecting Stripe, memberships, your waiver, your first class and inviting members, and short how-to videos with captions cover the main steps.
Do members need to install an app?
No. The member app opens in any phone browser and can be saved to the home screen. Nothing to download from an app store.
Do members have to book every class?
No. By default members just turn up and check in. You can switch on booking ahead for classes with limited space.
Can we switch from Clubworx, Mindbody or spreadsheets?
Yes. Import your member list from a spreadsheet or an export from your current system, and we help you match the columns and plan the changeover.
Can we bring our existing direct debits?
Direct debit authorities from PaySmart, Ezidebit or Debitsuccess cannot be transferred. Each member confirms a new one once through a secure link, and we help you plan that step.
What happens to my Stripe payments?
Each gym connects its own Stripe account, so the money goes straight to you and we never hold it. Combat Control charges a published 2.5% platform fee on member payments, taken at the moment of payment.
Who owns my member and payment data?
You do, always. Your members, attendance, billing and payment records belong to your gym. We process your data on your behalf and never sell or share it.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
No lock-in and no exit fee. Export members, attendance and revenue as a spreadsheet at any time, including after you cancel. Your Stripe account and its payment history stay yours. Ask us and we permanently delete the rest.
What about SMS costs?
Every plan includes SMS each month (100 to 500 depending on the plan). Extra messages are 8c each. Emails are unlimited on every plan.
Can we keep our website?
Yes. Paste one snippet into your site and the trial booking form appears in your colours, with your logo. Every enquiry lands on your leads board.
Can I try before committing?
Yes. 14 days free with every feature and no credit card. Groups of 3 or more gyms can ask for a guided pilot.
Can we sell gear, privates and gradings?
Yes. Save what you sell often, like a gi, a private lesson or a grading fee, and charge a member in a few taps by saved card or pay link. There is no full online shop, so keep yours if you sell lots of stock.
Is there door access?
Not built in. Members check in with a phone QR, a class QR or a tablet at the front desk. Keep your door system alongside it.
